Wednesday Update - SW:U Waves, Starter Kits, & More! 5/22/24

Hailing frequencies open!

As we leap into humpday we wanted to provide a quick update and news about the latest and greatest here at TCG Moonblast!

Preorder Stuff:

Wave Info All 3 waves have sold out! For a quick recap, preorders were divided into modest, equally sized waves to maximize availability upon release. While it is still unfortunately too early to determine if Wave 2 or beyond will ship on the set release date or soon after, our goal is to be overly cautious to ensure realistic expectations are set. We have put in our want numbers with the distributor that is 1.5x larger than all 3 of our waves combined and should be hearing back soon regarding the allocation. Assuming this is met in its entirety, this should allow us to re-open preorders well ahead of release and it will be set to exactly how many boxes we have. With how popular Spark of Rebellion is, the distributor will very likely be able to allocate us as much as needed for release, however, the self-imposed waves are extra precautions just in case. Once the order is officially placed and our allocation is set, everyone will receive an update with their product shipment date. We are aiming to ship ALL orders we have available on Wednesday morning (July 10th) as soon as the shipping carriers open to maximize their chances of reaching you by Friday. If we are allowed to ship earlier, we will! We are doing everything we can to remain in the distributor's good graces. :)

Starter Kits

We have Wave 1 open for Shadows of the Galaxy starter kits! With starter kits still plentily available for Spark of Rebellion, we don't see this ever reaching wave 2. These will 100% ship out on July 10th.

Prerelease Kits

We will have a limited stock of these available. We have indicated our want numbers but because of the limited production of these, I am not sure how much we will be able to secure. These will likely not be set as a preorder but instead, be opened up as normal stock on the online store. More to come, these can ship out much sooner and release on the 5th versus the rest of the set that releases on the 12th.

GameGenic Accessories

We will have a limited allotment of official GameGenic SW:U Shadows of the Galaxy products that we will be opening for preorder as well. Once we receive our allotment, all existing customers who have pre-ordered Shadows of the Galaxy will get first dibs with a special link via email and a coupon code to allow for free shipping for spending under $100 to pair with the existing preorders. We will also have a sale on all other GameGenic accessories for a limited time when this occurs as well. All of these items and especially SW:U related accessories are first-come-first-serve and cannot be held ahead of time.

Matthew's Less-Related Thoughts: Did you know you can play SW:U online against actual humans? https://karabast.net/ (not affiliated) has the best client yet for being able to play other people but takes a little bit of getting used to. I am currently enjoying* (*evil cackling) a Cunning Palpatine deck. It feels truly diabolical to claim initiative after an enemy Avenger is played, follow it up with a Change of Heart, swing on the base, and then send it back to the shadow realm by ol' Palpy's active ability. Also, No Good to Me Dead is the key against leaders to delay the game until you reach your ultimate form: Claw Machine Palpatine. >Deck Link<
