Star Wars: Unlimited - Allocation Update #2 - 6/05/2024

Greetings Star Wars fans! This blog post is a follow-up to the post/email last week regarding allocation with more info and details for everything, including some exclusive availability for anyone who preordered and is not receiving their product for the July 12th release. Important Notice Regarding PayPal Refunds: We are currently working to get funding back onto our PayPal balance. As mentioned in the previous email, we set everything from the preorders in a separate bank account until the orders are fulfilled. We assumed we could issue these at any time because it's connected directly to our business bank account. This is not the case and our first time going through something like this, we did not foresee it being a pain to get back onto our PayPal balance. This is necessary to be able to issue refunds through the website. For whatever reason, PayPal kept blocking all attempts to add more balance and required a daily phone call to customer service to initiate, in addition to another 3-5 days to go from the bank back to PayPal. We were finally able to initiate a large transaction today back onto the PayPal balance to cover all possible PayPal refunds, which it estimates will be available by the 10th. I apologize, this sucks, the refunds are coming, we are processing these ASAP and I have them all flagged in our email to process. Opt-In to Hold Pricing/Shipping: As mentioned before, you have the option to hold your place in line, pricing, and expedited shipping (>$150), for either the next allocation of Shadows of the Galaxy, the next set Twilight of the Republic, Spark of Rebellion reprint, or even the first set available of any set. You will be receiving a follow-up email with a Google Forms link to opt-in to whichever option you prefer. If you opt-in to a future set, this is not binding in any way; you still have the option to cancel your order at any time up until it ships. We made a separate database for this and will be filling orders in the order they were placed. We expect to be sending out this email in the next week or so, more details to come. 2-Player Start Kit Availability: Regarding the 2-player starter kits, we received 42 of these for our first allocation and we fully expect these to be the most available product for Shadows of the Galaxy over the coming weeks. I know what you’re thinking, how do we know this after FFG played a zero-cost out-of-aspect Bamboozle on us? We know the stock is going to be the same as Spark of Rebellion, and we also know 2-player starter kits for Spark of Rebellion are still available, the most abundant product, probably the only SW:U product available in your local game store, and still under MSRP on TCG Player. We assume these will soon be readily available. Take this with a grain of salt, but that is what we are basing this assumption on. Cancellations are always available at any time all the way up until your order ships. Prerelease and GameGenic Accessories: After much consideration and trying to make this as fair as humanly possible: For 36 hours, these products will be available ONLY for those who have both preordered and will NOT be receiving their order for the release date. After this, any remaining stock will be available on the site. We have an email that will be going out tomorrow (Thursday), with a link to purchase these. There is a strict limit imposed of 1x of each item per customer, except for the Game Mats. These are the hardest to get allocated and you can only choose one or the other while supplies last, vs one of each. This is based on our actual allocation pictured below and the product inventory is set to match. If it says it’s sold out, it’s sold out. Everything listed for this group will be shipping with a 07/05/2024 release date in mind and is pending arrival from Asmodee. There is no way to opt into receiving this email tomorrow, we already have the database on our end and are sending the link accordingly.

I appreciate all of the feedback we have received from this. We have been doing everything possible to rectify this situation and will continue to do so until ALL orders are fulfilled. We also have some ideas we’ve bounced back and forth as future perks you will receive for going through this with us, regardless of whether or not the order was canceled. More news on that soon, for now, our focus is prepping everything to ship out for release and securing more products.
